O.P.I Russian Navy Matt

The Navy Nails trend and also Matt finished fingertips were a huge trend over Summer and it is set to follow into this coming season. O.P.I Russian Navy Matt is a gorgeous deep inky navy blue with a matt finish.

Darker shade looks best on neat, squared short tips nails. I found this polish messy looking once applied as the polish dries so quick the brush strokes are visible, and are even more apparant in flash photography (as shown in the picture above). This polish is a flat colour, and not as long lasting as the original OPI formulas due to the matt finish. You don’t need to use a base coat or a top coat when wearing a matt which obviously plays a factor in the longevity of the polish. Matt polish also looks great with glossy tips ala YSL.

Are you a fan of the Matt Nail Polish trend?
