Vivienne Westwood Exclusive T-Shirts for Comic Relief 2011

It's that time again - Red Nose Day which is taking place this coming Friday 18th Feb. Following in Stella McCartney’s popular footsteps, iconic British fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood has designed a series of limited edition quirky t-shirts for this year’s Comic Relief appeal exclusively for TK MAXX.

The t-shirts are an eclectic mix of history and humour with striking black and white images of iconic characters, including William Shakespeare, Hogarth’s “The Laughing Audience”, a punk, an aristocratic Louis XV1 grande dame and Rowan Atkinson as ‘Edmund’ and Miranda Richardson as ‘Queenie’ from the Blackadder television series. All t-shirts feature the signature red nose and the t-shirts are made in Africa sourced with certifed Fairtrade organic cotton.

The ad campaign hosts a range of celebrities who have showed their support to the good cause by posing in the t-shirts, including Sienna Miller, Emilia Fox, Helena Christensen, David Walliams, John Cleese, Nicola Roberts, Ellie Goulding and James Corden, photographs taken by Bryan Adams.

To own a piece of fashion history, whilst supporting Red Nose Day, get your limited edition t-shirts and vest tops now from TK Maxx and are priced between £5.99 and £14.99, with all net profits going to Comic Relief.

  1. What an awesome project! I would definitely buy some if I'd live in the UK. :-)
