Do you remember lusting after the special edition matt black and Shocking Pink Fiat 500 last year? To celebrate both the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy and Gucci's 90th anniversary, the two have collaborated to bring the Fiat 500 by Gucci. Gucci and Fiat are proud to unveil the special edition of the iconic Italian Fiat 500 customised by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini in partnership with Fiat's Centro Stile.

Beauty Boxes Flat Top Brush Review

You may remember reading my review of the Beauty Boxes Kabuki Brush, I have since had chance to review the Flat Top Powder 927 Brush. This brush is so versatile, it is brilliant at applying foundation, applies cream blushes (FYI: I’m loving MAC Ladyblush this month – it creates the perfect rosy glow!), powder and bronzer and is great at buffing and blending the

product into the skin for a flawless finish.

The brush itself is great quality, crafted from goat hair and although it is densely packed it is incredibly soft. I would compare the shape to my ELF Studio Flat Top Brush (£3.50) which I thought was super soft, but the Beauty Boxes version is far softer in comparison. I have washed the brush several times and it keeps its shape well and there has been no shredding what so ever – which in comparison MAC brushes are terrible for!

So if you are looking for one brush that can apply foundation, apply cream blusher, powders, bronzer then this is the brush for you! A brilliant brush for travelling if you are trying to pack light rather than taking a selection of different brushes you can manage several jobs with this brush.

The Beauty Boxes Flat Top Brush is priced at £25.45 and is available from www.beauty-boxes.com

Rodial Skinny Beach Discount Offer!

Today I noticed on Rodial's Twitter they were promoting a huge discount on their Skinny Beach line of products. Rodial's products are best known for being super expensive rather than if the face and body products do actually make your boobs bigger, make you appear slimmer or get rid of wrinkles!

With summer approaching, Rodial are offering their Skinny Beach Sticks (RRP £48) and their Skinny Beach SPF15 Tinted Cream (RRP £40) for £14.95 - and even with the shipping cost being £5.99 it is still an amazing saving!

It is recommended that you take the Skinny Beach Sticks (vitamin food supplement) once or twice a day two weeks before you go on holiday. They promise to slim and tone your body and protect from UV just in time for the beach ( However, I would still use UV protection when in the sun!) The Skinny Beach SPF15 Tinted Cream promises to firm, lift and tone the body and adds a natural caramel sheen to the skin. I'm keen to see if these products actually work!

To take advantage of this offer; click here, add the 2 products to your basket then after you have filled in the shipping details enter the code 'SKINNYBEACHS' in the discount section and it should total £20.94 with shipping with a saving of £73.05! I suspect this offer will quickly sell out!

Have you tried any Rodial products? What were your thoughts?

Cheryl Cole is Auctioning her X Factor Wardrobe

Ever lusted after one of Cheryl Cole’s dresses? Thanks to ASOS, you can get your hands on Cheryl’s very own wardrobe!

Fans will be able to grab a piece of X Factor history, bid for one of the pop star's memorable dresses just by logging on to ASOS online fashion store. Ten designer dresses from the likes of Julien Macdonald and Giles Deacon will be up for grabs, including six items Cheryl wore on the X Factor. A further ten will then be released, with one new dress hitting the site each working day for the next fortnight.

'When I was clearing out my wardrobe it occurred to me that the clothes I was bagging up for charity could benefit my charity,' explains Cheryl. 'Which is how the idea for the closet auction started.'

The auction will be in a 'lowest unique bid' format, meaning that the lowest monetary amount not bid by anyone else wins the auction. This means that Cole's iconic dresses could potentially own one of Cheryl’s dresses for as little as 1p!

And as well as owning a little slice of pop and TV history, you’ll be giving to charity too, as all the proceeds raised will be donated to the singer’s Cheryl Cole Foundation, which supports initiatives organised by the Prince’s Trust.

The auction starts on Monday 13th June 9am sharp  www.asos.com

Lunch Time Treat : MAC Ladyblush & Pearl CCB

Today I popped into Harvey Nichols on my lunch and treated myself to a couple of must-haves from MAC. I picked up MAC Pearl Cream Colour Base (Frost) to be used as a highlight at the top of the cheekbones and brow bone - it really is amazing and gives subtle light gold shimmer without chunks of glitter. I also picked up ladyblush cremeblend blush which has a nice creamy texture and perks up the cheeks.

MAC Pearl CCB is priced at £13.50 and MAC Ladyblush £17.00 and are available from Selfridges.

Shatter Effect Nail Polishes from Beauty UK

Since Barry M launched their black shatter polish a lot of brands such as OPI have followed suit and it looks like they are still to be popular trend over the summer! Beauty UK have launched their own version of crackle polishes in pink, black and silver; and if you are on a budget priced at £2.99 each they seem to be the cheapest on the market. I am a big fan of Beauty UK's eyeshadow palettes - they are brilliant size for travel, excellent quality, highly pigmented and amazing value for money.

Shatter Polishes in Punk (Black) and Glam Rock (Silver)

The silver shatter polish was quite thick to apply compared to the black shade but dries almost instantly. From a little bit of experimentation I have found that the crackle effect polishes work better over the top of a polish with a less shiny finish, almost matte finish. I found that once the the shiny polish had the crackle polish over the top the shiny coloured undercoat tended to slide off. I also found that the black crackle polish looks best with nudes and neon brights underneath, whereas thesilver metallic crackle polish looks best with brights and darks underneath for a contrast.

Are you a fan of the Shatter effect?
