April She Said Beauty Box

I was just surprised with April's She Said Beauty which is a nice little Easter treat and thought I would share with you what's inside this month's box! If your not familiar with She Said Beauty, it launched last month and it's a new monthly beauty box subscription, that you can cancel at anytime, whereby you get 5 deluxe samples packaged beautifully and delivered to your door to try at home for £9 per month plus £2.95 postage & packaging. They are slightly cheaper than the other beauty boxes on the market and they offer special deals if you sign up for 3,6 or 12 months (see Discount Codes here) you can also save 25% off your first She Said Beauty by clicking here!

The box comes with a bright pink outer box, and a duck egg coloured inner box with a flip lid and all the products wrapped in straw and pink tissue paper. So onto what's inside this month's box:

Filthy Gorgeous Nail Polish (Full Size £9)
I have featured Filthy Gorgeous Nail Polishes before in my NOTD series and I really enjoy them as I found them good quality and hard wearing and formulated without Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP.  I received the shade 'Noelle' which is a classic bright Red shade - that I think I may already have is from their core collection which is a lovely rich creme that gives a high shine finish and is highly pigmented.

Mischa Barton Luscious Lips (Full Size £12)
I remember hearing that Mischa Barton was bringing out a beauty range but unfortunately I couldn't make the launch and haven't seen any of the products until now - I think for the price of this lip balm the packaging looks a little cheap. I received the shade 'Pink Pop' which is described as a rich, hydrating lip protector with a hint of flattering colour. It is a lip gloss with protecting SPF15 and vitamins and added moisturisers to keep your lips hydrated and kissable.

Bella Pierre Shimmer Powder in Champagne (Full Size £12.99)
This is a brand that I have dabbled with before but I have to say I rarely ever use pigments or mineral eye shadows as I find them so messy! This is another full size product and the colour is very neutral and flattering which would suit most skin tones powder. It is a multi-purpose product made from 100% pure mica powder that could be used as an eye shadow or highlight for brow bone and tops of cheekbones. She Said Beauty subscribers also get 40% off on their website in April which is a great offer if you love mineral makeup!

Bharti Vyas Face and Neck Polisher (Approx £1.80)
This is a new brand for me and although the packaging looks cheap the product inside has that nice 'spa-like' scent. The skin polisher contains a mix of walnut shells, neroli oil and vitamins and I can't wait to give this a go!

Comfort Zone Body Expert Kit (6 X 10ml Approx £12.31)
These couldn't have come at a more perfect time - I am going away on a 5 day trip next week so these will be great to take with me as they are the perfect sachets to put in my hand luggage to save space and also to try out some new body care. This little kit includes a Fruity Peel body scrub, Aromasoul Shower Gel, D-Age Body Cream, Body Strategist & Remodeller, Vital Leg Cream and Tranquility cream. Comfort Zone is a luxury Italian brand that I noticed was available to use in the bathrooms on my recent visit to Macdonald Hotel Spa. This is a great little set as it gives you 6 different products to try as apposed to just one and I'm looking forward to trying them out!

This month's box also included a couple of bonus items:

Erno Laszlo The Hollywood Collection (5 x 5ml samples worth approx £83.86)
Erno Laszlo is a new brand to me but I had heard of it previously as it came in the Harrods special edition GlossyBox last month. The products promise visable results and this hollywood collection has been inspired by icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Katharine Heburn, Grace Kelly, Greta Garbo and Ava Gardner. I had no idea how expensive this luxury skincare range was until I worked out that these five 5ml samples alone cost a whopping £83.86! I really don't know how they can justify the prices as from what I can see they don't contain any 'rare' ingredients! With such sky high prices I can't imagine many people being able to afford to splash over £1000 on skincare, but if you can then fair play to you! Probably the only item I would consider purchasing if it's as amazing as everyone says then it would be the eye cream as I suffer from dark circles and as of yet not found any products that help!

There was also a Lindt Chocolate Egg which was a nice touch with it being Easter! This month's box works out at £132.71 which is pretty amazing considering the subscription only costs £9 plus £2.95 p&p so you are really getting your money's worth with three full size products, high end expensive brands, and two added bonus products.

You can subscribe for £9 a month plus p&p via the She Said Beauty website. You can save money by subscribing for 3,6, or 12 months see discount codes here and also if you are a first-time subscriber find out how to save 25% on your first box here
