Revlon Double Twist Mascara Launch Event

The Friday before I went to New York I was kindly invited to The Revlon Event to launch their new Double Twist mascara held at the Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair. When I arrived at the hotel it was beautifully decorated and felt very Xmasey. I also felt underdressed as everyone was wearing fur, cocktail dresses/suits so I was relieved when our gathering was in the bar which had a more relaxed atmosphere.

I had a lovely afternoon and was nice to meet other bloggers. Alessandra from Revlon talked through the history of Revlon and ideas and concepts behind the new products. Christian Loubotion is a fan of revlon and his famous red soles were inspired by revlon red nailpolish - so im dying to try out Revlon Red as it looks like the perfect red!

We had a specially designed red and black cocktail which was gorgeous, dainty sandwiches, cakes, scones with jam and cream and Champagne. The staff were so kind and boxed up the leftover cakes to take away (although mine didn’t survive the train journey home :()

We were presented with goody bags which included….A case of Dorchester Tea, Revlon Pedicure set (similar to the Ped Egg but pink!); makeup brushes, sweets, nail polishes, lipsticks, eye shadow quad, several tubes of foundation and not forgetting the new Revlon Double Twist Mascara! I was so pleased to recieve a Cherrys in the snow nail polish and matching lipstick as its my favourite revlon shade.
I was given a couple of tubes of darker shade foundations that isn’t suitable for my skin tone so I thought I would do a giveaway to my lovely followers. Also stay tuned for a review of the products once I’ve had chance to properly try them out!

I would like to thank the girls at Revlon for organising such a wonderful afternoon, it was a nice treat and great to feel appreciated.
